Performers / Auditions

One of the most exciting ways of becoming a part of The New York Renaissance Faire is by becoming a performer. The faire employs a large cast of costumed entertainers through a variety of programs designed for the seasoned professional, the student and the hobbyist. The performing company is given workshops on character development, dialect, improvisational skills and more.

Auditions were MAY 2 and 3. See the Performer/Audition 2008 page for more info! Cast rehearsal info is there too.

Specialty Acts

The New York Renaissance Faire utilizes independent specialty acts who bring their shows to our audience. These performers include magic shows, juggling, comedy and music. Specialty acts are required to provide all their own props and costumes. See the Performer/Audition 2008 page for more info!
